Lift Every Voice 2019 | Recap

Recently the Lift Every Voice Night of Diversity & Celebration went all out in celebrating the diversity of our musical communities. Held at the Park Avenue Synagogue in New York, people from all races, ethnicity, gender, class, and religion came out for a special interfaith celebration.

The list includes “Oseh Shalom,” “Hallelujah,” “Everywhere I Go,” and “You’ve Got A Light,” a favorite of the audience. Motown legend, Valerie Simpson also gave us a thrilling rendition of “Bridge Over Troubled Water” and later “Reach Out and Touch.”Azi Schwartz and his sons Yonatan and Daniel Schwart then sung "Kumi Ori." Lastly, All the performers and the combined choired ended on a high with “Total Praise” by Richard Smallwood and Vision.
